Grunge on the radio
At first, I thought hearing music on local radio here from Seattle grunge bands that I'd long forgotten about was quaint.
Now, however, it's just another annoying aspect of how Seattle culture clings tenaciously to its glory days.
Speaking of celebrated local musicians (and nothing to do with Grunge): apparently, Jimi Hendrix hated Seattle so much that his friends and others who knew him well stated that it was improper to bury him there.
