Seattle, Where you pay more and get less
I'm not one to normally complain about lack of entertainment, food options, or amenities. However, when paying a premium for nearly everything from Rent, to Gas to groceries one has expectations.
Let's remove the weather, and retarded people from the equation.
Now let's examine what kind of bang for the buck one gets for what he/she is paying.
Unless you are female or gay there is literally nothing to do in Seattle. The art, club, and restaurant scene is specifically designed for people who are either female or gay. Real men don't enjoy looking at artwork, or going to run down coffee shops. Nor do we enjoy taking pictures of nature, or riding our bicycles everywhere.
Want a quick bit to eat at 12am? Sorry you're out of luck... 99% of businesses close at 11 even on the weekend.
Location: Seattle is in a relatively remote location compared to other major cities in the US. There is literally nothing of interest nearby for atleast 1100 miles. This means once you move here you are literally stuck.
Don't get me wrong, if I were paying $700 a month for rent, and $3.00 for a gallon of gas I wouldn't care what entertainment options there were. However when paying over double that, you'd think there would be some kind of special perk... Why else would people pay so much for so little?
Stupidity...
