We are from CA we have been here 2 years because my hubby got a job here. We have been looking for a job back in CA and have not found one so we are thankful for work but that is where it stops!
This shit hole is expensive and it is ugly. We know the weather is bad but now I have realized there is more than the weather.
Nobody can drive- in fact it's dangerous people hesitate. Nobody uses their horn it's so weird because in CA we honk!
People are so weird I can't figure it out. The vibe here is so strange and it is not laid back it is just zero personality people are slow or something.
Outside of Seattle there is nothing and I mean nothing total isolation. Red neckish most people born and raised in places like Lynnwood have never left Lynnwood.
A vacation is going to the Oregon coast, Alaska or the San Juans!
Everyone has a boat and a camper and a truck to haul it.
Food? Seriously I have had some of the worst food here and people think it's good. Again, you've never been to CA or NY.
Hence we have no friends. It is hard to make friends but what I realized is that I don't have anything in common with people here and conversations are strange it's like I'm not connecting or clicking with anybody so very lonely and depressing.
I hope and pray every day to get out soon!
